Case 2006-7691 Russellville Police
Russellville Police are investigating criminal damage to six vehicles at Countryside Motors on Hopkinsville Road in Russellville. On March 25th 2006 the automobiles paint was destroyed on the vehicles by use of a sharp object resulting in over $1000.00 damage.

Burglary by forced entry of Sheldon Baugh Insurance on North Main Street in Russellville during early morning hours of 01-16-2006. Perpetrators unlawfully removed a quantity of musical instruments, guitars, electronics and collectables.

Theft by forced entry of truck at 104 Valley View Drive in Russellville on January 17, 2006. Perpetrators unlawfully removed more than $300.00 worth of automotive audio equipment, including three amplifiers, from this vehicle.

Law Enforcement seeks your assistance in solving these crimes that occurred during the previous weeks.
Two business burglarys occurred between the dates of December 18th and 21st of December with similiar methods of operation for entries. On December 19th, the owner of McIntosh gunshop reported that his business had been unlawfully entered by removal of screws from the steel siding allowing entry through the wall into his shop allowing the theft of money and weapons from the building.

On 02-21-05 owners of Countrside motors reported that their sales lot offices had been entered same as McIntosh Guns however; no articles were reported stolen to police. Officers at both locations gathered items of physical evidence and forwarded it to the Kentucky State Police Crime Laboratory for analysis and possible identification.

On 02-16-05, Bobby Dawson reported to Sheriff Deputies that his 2005 Chevrolet extended cab red truck was unlawfully taken from his barn during the evening of 12-26 or early morning of 12-27-2005. A key was left in a hidden location inside the truck and is believed to have been used to complete the theft. DAWSONS STOLEN TRUCK RECOVERED IN SOUTH CAROLINA, PROSECUTION RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY IN SOUTH CAROLINA ON OPERATOR.

Adairville Police Case 2005-23706
The Adairville Police and Logan County Sheriffs' Department are investigating the Tuesday night burglary of the Adairville Elementary School. The forced entry into the building was made at the maintenance room. The perpetrator(s) entered into the building and forced entry into the Principals' office where a safe containing checks and currency over $300.00 was removed to the cafeteria area. A small amount of currency was removed from the cafeteria office desk. The perpetrator(s) exited through the cafeteria door leading to the dock area and is believed to have loaded the safe into a vehicle at the dock which is located on the southwest area of the building.

Logan County Sheriff Department and the Kentucky State Police are investigating a theft that occurred on Friday night, 07-29-05, in the Coopertown Road area resulting in the loss of several hundred dollars in tools including yellow Poulan chain saw, a green tool box with assorted tools, red Troy-Bilt Weed trimmer, red tool box with craftman assorted tools, a blue Campbell-Hausefield air compressor, and gas cans.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a First Degree Burglary that occurred Thursday 07-14-05 at the Kelly Kutzman residence on Taylor Road in Rockfield. Several thousand dollars in rifles, jewelry, and tools were taken from the forced entry of the residence during daytime hours.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a First Degree Burglary and Theft over $300.00 that occurred Tuesday March 22nd 2005 at the Jeff Inscoe residence on Union Grove Road. The burglar entered by prying open the rear door and removed several hundred dollars worth of jewelry, guns, and electronics. This was a day time burglary and anyone with any information relative to suspicious vehicles or persons is encouraged to contact the Logan County Sheriff’s Department with lead information at 726-2244, or contact CrimeStoppers if interested in a reward in this case.

Russellville Police Case # 2005-6032
Police are asking for information in regards to a theft that occurred on or about March 10th, 2005. Someone entered the lot of Agri-Power (1700 Nashville Road) and stole a 1985 yellow Ford 1-ton flatbed truck, a red 18-foot trailer and a 2005 camouflage Kubota ATV. The theft occurred sometime after 5pm Thursday March 10th and before 6:30 am Friday March 11th.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a Second Degree Burglary and Theft over $300 that occurred between Monday May 2nd and Friday night May 6th in the Oakville community.

Forced entry at 2270 Oakville Lane was discovered Friday night revealing that numerous antique furniture pieces and antique glassware was taken amounting to several thousand of dollars. Included were cherry and walnut antique tables, several with marble, depression glassware and chinaware.
