On the early evening of May 29, 2010 at approximately 1815 hours, Daniel Carneles was shot in the face by a 12-gauge shotgun by Felix Hernandez. Mr. Fernandez fled the scene on foot to a possioble location on Concord Road. The Russellville Police Department and the Logan County Sheriff's Department conducted a neighborhood canvas trying to locate Mr. Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez was unable to be located. Mr. Fernandez is a Hispanic male, 5'06", 160 pounds, short black hair and has gold teeth. Mr. Fernandez may have sustained an injury to the mouth. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and black boots with silver trim.

A burglary was reported at 1003 Brookhaven Drive. The incident occurred between the late hours of Thursday night 05-06-2010 and the early morning hours of Friday 05-07-2010. The perpetrators entered through the back door and stole an undetermined amount of cash. |

Case 10-086 Occurred on 4-20-2010 at 4525 Watermelon Road during the late night or early morning hours, suspect(s) entered barn and removed the following: 1 Kabota zero turn mower, model ZD 321, 1 Statesmen brand mower, 1 Homelite 4000 Power Generator, all items total comes to $12,250.00. Sgt. D. Kitchens is the case officer.
Case 10-090 Occurred on Darnell Road in the Keysburg area, early morning hours of 4-29-10 where a Yamaha Rhino ATV, green in color with a roll cage attached was stolen. The Rhino is a 2009 model and valued at over $7000.00 Dep. L. Christie is the case officer. |

Between the night hours of March 6th and the morning of March 7th, 2010 a vehicle was stolen from East Fourth Street in Russellville, KY. The vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Cavalier silver in color with no dents or damage, Kentucky license plate 396-HLS. The vehicle was sitting in the driveway of a residence and was locked. The vehicle has been recovered with damage. We are seeking information on the person (s) who stole this vehicle. The Russellville Logan County Crime Stoppers are proud to announce a new tool in receiving tips. As of March 2010 the tipline 726-5050 will be answered in person 24 hours a day. The number is the same but a call center out of state will answer the line each and every time. The call center will then forward the information on to the appropriate agency. As always, Crime Stoppers DOES NOT want your name, just your information.
This call center has been utilized by Crime Stopper groups around the nation. The center is actually located in Canada and can not trace your call. The call center is experienced in taking Crime Stopper information and forwarding it to law enforcement. In addition, the center takes calls not only in English but Spanish as well.
The use of this new tool is expected to not only speed up the time a tip is received but ensure all the important information is obtained and forwarded to area law enforcement.

| At 5:30 am on Monday November 2, 2009, the Logan County Sheriff's Department responded to 463 Jackie Dukes (on Lake Malone) to a residential fire. The home was vacant but investigators learned there were some unusual vehicles and persons near the home just before the fire started. One of the vehicles seen was a silver pickup truck, unknown make. Other information was obtained that lead investigators to believe the home was intentionally set on fire. The house obtained severe damage and is thought to be a total loss. Anyone with information on this arson is urged to contact Crimestoppers. |

| On Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the home (house trailer) at 6875 Quality Road in Lewisburg, KY. The suspect(s) entered through a rear workshop and tried to pry open the rear door. This was unsuccessful, so they broke a window and entered the living room. While there, they removed $1,000 cash in 100 dollar bills and a .357 Mag. Ruger revolver. This is a rural location and neighbors have already reported not seeing or hearing anything during that time. There are no other leads. |

| On November 23, 2008 a Kubota RTV 300 was stolen from the Prices Mill Road area. It was camouflage in color and had a Rhino bedliner. Recently another Kubota similar to this one was recovered in Bowling Green, KY. At this time there is no known connection between the two, however it is hoped someone will come forward with information on this 2008 case once they hear about the recovery. |
